no worries man, u didn't start it, i tried warning this dude on clubveedub that his price was way too high, he choose to ignore me, but I was just trying to save him the embarrasment of everyone else bashing his price...oh well......what do i know anyhow............
thanks everyone for the great advices, i know i can't get that money back that i put into, but sure its worth trying. I already got couple of offers and the highest was 8500. so ok, if somebody offers $9k, conside it sold! respond for 5000 offer, sorry but not interested!
if i were u i take that offer and run for the hills!!!...........u can get a vr6 for 9 g's easy!............but then again, what do i know...........
you can get vr6 even for 7000, if you want. The only problem is, the engine and tranny are totaly *****. There is also one for $1000 less, that someone mentioned earlier, is that the one that was is the accident and the total damaged was $4k?Anyhow, there are probably many gti's for sale right now, if you are looking for the car that has never been in accident, runs mint, no rust at all, looks awesome, then this is the car for you. For the long run, priceless!!!

I guarentee i could find a prime ass mk3 vr6 for the 9800 your asking. IF someone actually did offer you 9k for your car..for the love of god, take it.
a friend of mine just got a mk3 jetta in pretty mint shape with just shy of 200k on the clock for 4k

Not to forget that apart from a early model (2000-2001) MK4 Golf 2.0 with around a 100K on it, you can get a 98 BMW 318i for that price! There is one for sale with only a 120K kms and comes fully loaded. For 8500, I'd accept the offer if I were you becuase I don't think anybody in their right mind would offer you anywhere CLOSE to that price for your car.
