I know someone is always asking about Audi 5000's (DeanerF?) so I thought I'd post these on here. They are NOT mine, just found them on another forum and thought someone might be interested, there are pics too just PM me...........
1986 Audi 5000 Turbo Quattro sedan, 5spd, AWD, ABS, Locking diffs, prettty much fully loaded except leather, everything works except the AC, cruise and front heated seats, 320,000kms. I've was driving it everyday untill recently(got a good deal on a Grand Cherokee). Needs a few things, body/interior is great expcept a tailight is broken. The enigine pulls hard at 3000rpm and up but is sluggish off the line due to a crack in the exhaust maifold next to the O2 sensor. It has a chipped ECM and performance wastegate spring. Pushes 14psi boost!
The good news is that it comes with a parts car!
1986 5000 Turbo, automatic, FWD. Tranny is toast but only has 230,000kms on it and the engine ran great when parked 6months ago. My plan was to swap the motor from this into the Quattro but I've got the Jeep now sooo.... out they go.
For those that have never driven a Quattro in winter you don't know what you are missing! I have owned a LOT of AWD/4wd vehicles and for bad city/highway winter driving this kicks A$$! Also for an '86 the ABS system works better than most modern ABS systems I've driven.
Anyway package deal $1000 for both. I can deliver the parts car(have a trailer) and the Quattro can be driven away.
