  • FS: 01 1.8T Wolfsburg

I have decided to sell my 01 Wolfsburg. The asking price is currently $17,500 but I am willing to negoitiate. I am in the market for a new car but am really in no rush to move this one. I love this car and would be happy to keep it but that 05 350Z I have been eyeing up is drawing me in like a fat kid to a smartie.

Here is what has been done:
    Full GLI skirts
    Lowering springs
    GIAC chip
New tails, I still have the originals however.
new VW catback exhaust with custom tip
    tint
    short shifter
    18" BBS with Eagle Ones
16" winter Steelies, rubber still in very good condition
    New Forge diverter valve.

This car is in very good condition and I have all the Norden receipts to verify service history including new water pump and ignition coils. There are 108,000 kms.

Good luck with the sale, your best bet would be to part it though, you could get a lot of cash for a full GLI kit, and your BBS's will also be worth selling.

When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.

Didn't someone say that about your for sale ad and you got mad?

Perhaps we should just let everyone sell what they want for how much they want.

        Good luck with the sale.

          Re: Feeler: 01 1.8T Wolfsburg

To be honest, I haven't really researched the current going rate for an 01 Wolfsburg and am very open to adjusted my price. The reason I have listed at about $3,000 more than a stock 01 is the approx. 7,000 worth of upgrades.

I also realize that after-market upgrades don't usually return anywhere close to what you paid for them when they are included in the sale.

At any rate, I am willing to consider any serious offer regardless of the price and if it makes sense to me, I will sell.

Hey Stig, thanks for the tip but aren't you the same guy that once said, "Then you have ur brother sell his at his price. and Ill sell mine at my price. Thanks for the useless post"? I believe that you said this when someone suggested that your car was overpriced.

Thanks for the compliment.......I love this car but it is time to buy something new.
I am actually looking at a 2004 350Z but need to sell this one first. It has been a great car and all the maintenance has been done at Norden. I have receipts for everything.
