Well I am waiting for my caps and bolts etc, but since I am heading away on thursday I probably wont get the wheels on till I get back. Therefore I thought I would at least put up a few pics of the new goodies.
First of is the tires, 195-40-16 Toyo T1Rs, I went with non staggered tires to save troubles and cost as the other sizes are not so common here and this setup works just fine.
Here is the OEM front vs the new front, a bit of a difference
The back is not so extreme but still adding a little width.
Now for the wheels, Smart OEM Titanium Spikelines or Crossblade wheels. Made in Germany by Borbet I found out too.
The fronts are 16x6.5 and the rears are 16x7
They are not that different in width but they do look very different because the front has an offset of ET24 and the rear is a ET-20 (on the left)

Well finally after years of wheel indecision and complication I am finally rolling on some new wheels. Here are the first few pics, the car is not super clean but it was given a full polish by Jed just last week.
You can also see my new Brabus front grill
A little wider up front
And in the back too (excuse the broken plate bulb lense)
A little poke in the back and the arch extensions
Overall I am super happy with the look and big thanks to Bob at Urban Expressions for getting me rolling!!!

Well I have been trying to sort out an exhaust without paying a ridiculous amount of coin, so on Saturday I took the Smart up to Das Auto Haus in Red Deer and had Chris do a little experimentation. Overall the Smart exhaust is very very compact so he ended up fabbing a straight pipe with twin center exit from some pieces he had in the shop and a set of Eurojet tips. It looks great but with no muffler it is quite loud, closer to a F350 powerstroke than a Smart. The drone and volume are a little too much so I am going to finally bite the bullet and order a new setup from the UK.
Big thanks to Chris for taking time out of his schedule to experiment with the Smart and the shop is fantastic too!

Well at least they can hear you coming. The exhaust explains the center cutout I saw when pictures where loading.
